Quick Overview

Solid oak herringbone

solid oak Herringbone 18mm x 105mm x 525mm rustic and distressed

Hand finished in England

The product is 18mm x 105mmx 525mm heavy distressed and tumbled for an aged original effort and is not a flat smooth finish. Distressing is a partially destructive process, it is natural and accepted side effect that there are splinters and deformed edges to the blocks.
The flooring is finished with 3 coats of hardwax oil, each has been allowed to touch dry overnight after application. once production has been completed the blocks are bundled and strapped they are ready to be fitted after acclimatisation, however the hardwax oil needs 10 further days of exposure to air to fully harden off in order to give full protection under normal use.
during this time there must be no wet cleaning of any kind.
the floor must not be covered with anything impermeable for the first 10 days, this particularly refers to corex or similar products used by builders, as this will delay the curing process
